Merit Badges

Merit Badge sign-ups for summer camp start Thursday. Camp Daniel Boone indicates the most popular fill up fast. Those 5 attending base camp need to sign up for merit badges. I highly recommend taking at least 1 Eagle required merit badge (Camping Cooking, or Swimming). Please have your choices to me, before Thursday Merit Badges 2018

This is an individual registration, We are not going as a Troop:

Registration is now open for the 2018 Summer Boy Scout Merit Badge Camps @ Ranken Technical College.  Please help us spread the word!

Boy Scouts are in for a 2-wheel adventure in this camp! Learn more about bike safety & maintenance than you thought possible. This camp promises to be intense, informative, and exciting. Even if you’ve been cycling for years, you will learn more about your bike and what it can do by working on the requirements for this badge.  BYOB (Bring Your Own Bike), road bike preferred.  Experienced Ranken cyclist will accompany Scouts down a portion of the Katy Trail, covering 22 miles of terrain to earn their badges.

Those who service automobiles must understand each principle, and how these principles interact to provide smooth, efficient performance. Owners of cars also benefit by understanding how their vehicles operate. This enables them to understand why certain periodic maintenance is required to keep their vehicles in tip-top shape. – Rotate – Learn how to identify business opportunities, create and evaluate business ideas, and explore the feasibility of an idea for a new business. Get the chance to fit everything together as you start and run your own business venture.

Who knew learning about the behavior of electrons and pipe fitting could be so much fun?  Electronics is the science that controls the behavior of electrons so that some type of useful function is performed. Learn about safety, schematics, integrated circuits and the functions of each.  Demonstrate your understanding. – Rotate – The plumbing industry covers installations and repairs in homes, commercial properties, and factories.  Learn how these systems work.  Scouts from the Greater St. Louis Council & the Great Rivers Council, Boy Scouts of America are invited to join us for this event. We’re excited!!
