    Troop – Meeting this Thursday. We will start the Skating Merit Badge. We do not have Mesnier on 2/21 so we will be skating then. We will also talk about what the Scouts want to do in February so please come with ideas!

    OA – February 16th is our District Banquet and meeting at St Dominic Savio Catholic Church. Gathering time starts at 5:30pm with dinner at 6:00pm. We are having a Chili, Soup and Corn Bread cook off. Your Unit can come and bring multiple Chili’s, Soups and cornbreads for a chance to win some great prizes and bragging rights. There will be a Champion for each Category! The Unit with the most members in attendance will also receive a great prize to be shared by all. We will have some fun entertainment and there will be Ceremonial Team representatives who will promote our District Ceremonial Teams.
    Cost is $10. Sign up online @ gravoistrail.shawneelodge.org, or talk to a Chapter Officer at Roundtable.

    Please let Mrs. Tague know if you are going to the OA District Banquet.

    Klondike is Saturday, January 26
    Time: 7:30 (meet at Admin Building to carpool to Beaumont) to 3 pm
    Cost: $7.00 per person (Cash)
    This is a day event. I need to know who is going so we can plan.

    Summer Camp

    The Summer Camp System is open for individual payments and merit badge selection.

    The scout will need to be paid in full before they can register for any classes. The final cost of summer camp along with the payment schedule is listed below.
    .
    Deposit- $50- due by 3/1/2019
    Second Payment- $100 due by 4/15/2019
    Final Payment- $155 due by 5/31/2018

    The cost for summer camp is $305, the early bird pricing will be $285 if paid in full before 4/10/2019. The $15 late fee will be added on June 1st.

    I will have a copy of the merit badges at the meeting on Thursday.

    Thursday, January 10th Meeting

    Please bring your books to be reviewed/signed off for rank advancement. My goal is to have Scoutmaster Conferences and Board of Reviews for eligible Scouts on

    We will also practice the knots required for the Scout Rank: Square knot, two half-hitches and a taunt-line hitch. At the cross over camping, we will work with the new Scouts to help them learn these knots.

    Before the end of the meeting, I would like to complete Family Life by quickly reviewing some of the requirements.

    January 17th meeting – We will start the Collections Merit Badge. Please be thinking of your collection.

    Saturday, January 26th – Klondike – We will talk about this at the meeting.

    (Day event only – ends at 3:00 pm)

    Meet at the Admin building at 7:30 to carpool to Beaumont. Klondike is in Lane field.
    We need to register by 8:30 as a Troop
    Cost is $7.00 per person. (Cash by January 24)
