This week, we need Scouts to bring their books so we can do a book check and sign off on books for rank advancement.

Saturday, September 21st – Affton Days pre-Parade food booth. We need donations like water, Gatorade, doughnuts, individually bagged chips (snack size) that we can sell before the parade starts. We use the money raised in the Troop for help with maintenance on camping items we use routinely. The parade starts at Affton High School. Please let me know what you can donate. We also need adults and Scouts to help sell. I will have a sign up at the Thursday meeting.

We do not have Mesnier on Thursday, September 26. The Scouts have chosen to go to The Edge in Belleville. We will meet at the Admin building to leave at 6:30 to go to The Edge. (701 South Belt West, Belleville, IL 62220 ) Cost of two games of laser tag is $16.00

Fall Pacao is Friday, October 11th – Sunday, October 13th. Cost is $20/per person for Scouts. Last day to pay will be Thursday, October 3rd. The Scouts will be meal planning on October 3rd. Each Patrol will have a grub master that is in charge of shopping for the food. We will discuss this on October 3rd.

Other reminders: Now that we are back in school, if a Scout needs a card for a Merit Badge, they need to sign the book at the beginning of the meeting in the Merit Badge log section of the Troop Sign In Book. Cards will be written as time allows during the meeting as time allows. Scouts need to know when they are taking the Merit Badge class.
